Video review and look of the camping area Andersons Garden Clonbinane/Mt Disappointment Campsite Review - Camping Victoria https://youtu.be/AiJQLZ2K-CA
Great little camping area with grassy areas and drop toilets! We look forward coming back.

Lots of space but doesn’t feel too crowded during busy periods. Long drop toilets are clean and don’t smell and there are plenty of fire pits to go around. Also make sure to bring water with you and keep in mind that phone reception is pretty dodgy, especially if using the Optus network.
Pretty good camping spot if you want to go 4x4 or dirt biking. 2wd accessible by a good gravel road. It has compost toilets. No water. 1 small gazebo but doesn't really cover from any rain and a few picnic tables. Plenty of room for tents as most people were in campervans.
When we arrived there was only one other camper on the other side of the campsite. It is picturesque, quiet and the drop toilets DON’T SMELL! (How is that possible?!) Such a lovely spot, I’ll definitely put this on my regular campsites list.

Stayed for 4 days during Easter. It was one of the worst camping experiences of my life. The place attracts a lot of undesirable people unfortunately. The first night included 5 men getting shit faced, vomiting then burning their vomit laden rubber mattresses in the morning (black smoke everywhere). We were appalled. ?
Hi there! Can anyone confirm if there are swimming holes near the campground and if so where abouts exactly? Thanks

Hello just wondering if this campsite is opened today and tomorrow ?
Doesn't appear like any state forest or national park campsites are open until further notice. Maybe someone can officially confirm this. by George S.
Any idea if this place will get busy Australia Day weekend and if we need to bring our own firewood?
It's hard to say if it will get busy. We have never taken firewood, always used what's been there, and there is always heaps. Take an axe to cut wood. Enjoy by Jodie A.
Hello is this campsite still open for the weekend ?? by Mikayla

Can we bring our camper trailer in ?
If can make room but know small area to car park! by Julian E.
The car parks are locked off from the camping area by wooden stumps. But I think there’s enough space in the car park to open a camper trailer by Asha C.
Any idea if this place gets busy on the weekend or Australia Day weekend? Is there a max number of nights you can stay? by Rebecca V.

Top 10 campsites that allow fires near Fleurieu Peninsula, SA
They say life is better around the campfire. And we could not agree more. Over the years due to increase fire risk it's become a challenge to find great campsites that allow you to have a fire by your tent. Please be a responsible Aircamper and brush up on your fire safety knowledge. Bushwalking NSW has a great article that'll give you the rundown on how to light a fire responsibly. Below we've collected some hidden gems near Fleurieu Peninsula, SA that still allow you to sit back, toast your feet and incinerate some marshmallows while telling stories about camping when you were a kid.
