Beautiful place. Had 3 other campers in the area on a Monday night but very spaced out. Saw wallabies, rabbits, and birds. Drop toilet was almost full. Had bins and a tap... not sure if drinkable.

Fantastic little spot for a quick little get away. 1 1/2 hours from Canberra. Drop toilets are basic but clean.

Lots of green grass for the dog. Plenty of kangaroos and king parrots, with the odd bunny running bye. A few sitings of black snakes and hunters shooting on the surrounding hills at night. The locals are also friendly. No water here or in the creek atm. Weekends get busy with other campers arriving.

Is it easy access with a caravan? Which is the best way to get there?

Araluen rd from Braidwood. The brakes will get a good workout going down into the valley and it’s a steep climb back to the top back to Braidwood. The road to Moruya is not suitable for trailers. by bbayjohns
