Fantastic little campsite with lots of shade and at most fifty meters from the beach. Fireplaces are shared and there’s a real intimacy to the place. You can see Wilson’s Prom and it’s mountains from here across the bay. Stunning. Saw a lot of bird life and other beautiful Australian creatures. This will be one of my favourite spots.

Great spot and cheaper than staying in Wilson’s Prom Nat Park- (Tidal river) A good base to check out what the area has to offer. Drop toilets, epic sunsets and wombats galore.

Bushwalking NSW has a great article that'll give you the rundown on how to light a fire responsibly. Below we've collected some hidden gems near Twin Reefs, VIC that still allow you to sit back, toast your feet and incinerate some marshmallows while telling stories about camping when you were a kid.
