We didn't actually get to the campsite.... 🤣 But stayed on the Moruya side of the river.... But so worth it.... We had the best entertainment watching cars go through the river... Beautiful spot ... For those wondering there is no Telstra reception.... From what we heard there isn't any at all but can confirm no Telstra.... Also best to have a snorkel on your vehicle....

Beautiful place! The first area you drive through is best for river access, but if you continue straight and cross the river again, it’s just absolutely stunning, reminds me of Jurassic Park!

when you camped here were you able to find spots where you could still receive mobile reception?

Wombats were our noisiest neighbours! Sitting by the fire at night we could hear and watch them keeping the grass trimmed. Accessible only by 4wd this is one of the best camping spots we have ever been. Middle weekend of NSW school holidays and there was only a dozen or so other campers spread out over the several different camping grounds. We were near one of the 2 pit toilets available and still only had 3 neighbours (each were at least 200-300 metres away). We used the crystal clear creek water for washing but didn’t drink it.
