Beautiful and remote. Road is a little easier to drive on than Yadboro flats but it still feels very remote. Only a few campsites here and they’re all pretty close to each other and the toilet. The walk to the water is stunning but some parts towards the end are a bit wild. The cicadas were so noisy we had to block our ears sometimes - not sure what it’s like other times of the year but the noise is probably enough to make this more of a 1 night stay than 3 night stay :)

Lovely place.Slightly difficult to get too, 40mins on an unsealed dirt road. Thousands of Cicadas that are very noisy but place is beautiful and caught bass in the river without much skill so would recommend.

People.....take your rubbish with you! It is such a pristine place, disappointing to see plastic rubbish left everywhere. Beautiful tranquil place with lots of bird life in the morning.
