We would like to go there after the new year. Anyone know if it’s open now?

I believe a fire went through there in December. I think it's probably not safe there yet. Contact the information centre for more information. by Michelle Clair Ovenden

When we were there it was very quiet but has the potential to be really busy. Somewhat of a toilet, better to be self contained. After saying that the place is beautiful, right on the river. No shops for miles so ensure you have all you need. Beautiful.

Beautiful river, plenty of space, peaceful. You can stay up to one month free camping. The bottom toilet wasn't very nice but the top toilet was much better. Cows graze the paddock in non school holiday periods. During school holidays, the council bring in dumpster bins. Plenty of shade. No drinking water available, have to head in to town to get drinking water. About a 30 minute drive into town; Gloucester. Also no phone reception; very peaceful LOL.

Beautiful spot and quiet. Plenty of space and options to camp amongst the trees or on the plateau area. Wood fires allowed and the river is a great spot to watch the wildlife.

Clean, restful and relaxing. Clean toilets and plenty of space. Dog friendly. Cows roam around so watch where you step!!
