We loved staying at this property. We had a caravan and free camped. The amenities were clean and well kept. Our kids particularly liked the 4WD track around the cliff tops. We had the place to ourselves so our dogs were allowed off lead and loved their freedom. Would be a great place to go in a group and make use of the large camp kitchen and fire pit area.

Lovely, spacious campsite out in the bush. There are swag huts all around the campsite which could also fit a small tent. The facilities are all sustainable and have been built by the owners which makes it very unique. There are both male and female drop toilets with a hand basin outside with soap. The showers are run on an old fashioned bucket system where you go and fill up a bucket of hot water from the camp kitchen and fill up your shower bucket and turn on the shower head to have a shower. This was really fun! The camp kitchen is lovely and spacious and has great cooking facilities. There is also a big spacious outdoor seating around with a big fire pit. There is private access to the beach from the property by car and once you climb down the rocks to the beach it is simply stunning. There was no else around when we visited and had the beach to ourselves. There is also a 4WD track which we did along the cliff tops which was stunning. We stayed here in our camper trailer with our dog and our two girls 6 & 3. It was a great experience and really nice to get away from the busyness of Streaky Bay for something different and relaxing. Venus Bay and Pt Kenny are both a short drive away. Thank you to Hassie & Jo for making it a memorable experience :)

Camping spots are very Nice, but the facilities are run down. With 2WD you have Can not take the shortcut the talia caves, so it does take 20 minutes to get there.

Hi Hanne, Thanks for your review - glad you liked the camp spots and I am sorry to hear that you thought the facilities were run down. The whole of Camp Coodlie has been built around sustainability and we used recycled products. The track to Talia Caves is actually our fire exit in the case of a wildfire so although people use it to visit Talia in the right type of vehicle, it is not actually a part of the camp ground. I loved this bush camp!! And I love the bush showers, you fill a bucket of hot water from the kitchen and carry to your shower cubicle. Pour into your shower bucket and go for a quick shower. There is a large camp kitcken, communal fire pit, drop toilets, a private beach (once you climb down a cliff 40 metres) plus 4WD track along the cliff edge with stunning views. This isn't everyones cup of tea but we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. $15 per vehicle per night, great value!!
