Big rig accessible. We're 16T and 14 meters and got in fine. Road is a little bumpy on the way in and make sure you take the moorland entrance coming in from the east. The logging route there is good for big rigs and there are some small bridges on the south track. Standard drop toilet with no TP so bring your own. Can get crowded but spot is lovely. Nice bush walks and 4wding.
Great camp ground. Secluded but plenty of sites. Drop toilet, allows fires, tank water, bbq and picnic area - what more could you ask for. Also very friendly locals.

Lots of campers but lots of space! Quiet camp spot with clean toilets and fires allowed. Pretty setting but take the road slowly as a bit rough and narrow in places.
Pretty good place lots of room, lots of people around but still easy to find and set up

Do you need 4WD to access this campground?
No it’s a reasonably good diet forestry road to get there by Andrew C.

Are we able to stay more than one night passing through?
Hey Jacqui, Camping in State Forests is generally limited to a maximum of four weeks. Visitors should be aware of and adhere to any signage at camping sites which may define shorter periods of stay and must comply with all directions given by authorised officers during their stay. Cheers Leah by NSW S.
As we are new to camping do we need permits? by Jacqui B.
No limit but a few locals have moved in. It’s temporarily closed due to logging. Love this spot as it’s very close to the highway but very secluded by Richard V.

Hi 😊 Was just wondering if you need to book to stay here (allocated sites) or if you just turn up and go whenever you like? (First in best dressed). Thank you 😊
Hey David, all State Forest camp sites are free of charge and for that reason there are no bookings for sites. They are simply run on the basis 'first in, first served'. It is also for this reason, that Forestry Corporation don't have allocated sites. by Mike W.
Ok no worries. Thank you Mike. Very new to the camping thing so just wanted to be sure. Cheers. by David M.
