Great place to escape city life and have the phones switched off (as there is no reception). Fire pits, grilling plates and drop toilets available. Although it's a dog friendly campsite, I would recommend leaving the furbabies at home as there are ticks, leeches and duck droppings around - rangers also warned of snakes along the river trail.

Stayed for 5 days in November with a bunch of mates and the site was fairly quiet, it’s quite remote and takes about 45 mins to get to Colac from there. The toilets were really clean. There’s a really nice river next to the site but watch out for leaches

Awesome free campground. Pretty clean considering how busy it was. It’s a rainforest so there’s loads of little bugs that love bright things (why did I buy a bright yellow tent?!). Arrived on Saturday night and it was busy but there was still plenty of space. Check out the walking track next to the water ... it’s wild but beautiful.
