A hidden gem & an amazing location. A beautiful scenic camping spot for caravans/vehicles or tents. Also newly renovated lodge rooms available. Such a great set up, all amenity facilities where very clean and well maintained. The hot showers where amazing. Great communication with Ruth and Steve who managed the site. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Dorrigo/Dangar falls! Cash & Card payments accepted, just call on the day before arriving to check for availability.

Hi Zoe, We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay in our beautiful part of the world. We hope to see you back really soon :)
Ruth and Steve who manage the site are terrific people! The amenities are spotless, showers are hot and the view is awesome 👍😎 This place is a real gem! We are in a small off road caravan, some powered sights available. Beautiful yellow tail Black Cockatoo's came each evening for a sit on the fence. Lovely place to stay, would recommend you see for yourself 😄😁

Hi Laurie, we're so glad you enjoyed your experience with us. It is such a unique place and how special you got to see the yellow tail cockatoo's. Ruth and Steve are gems and we're so happy to have them on our team. We hope to see you back in our little neck of the woods soon.
Lovely stay in Dorrigo located near Dangar Falls. Lovely meeting Bill, taking care of the place. Walk to the falls & refreshing bath close by.

Hi Fred, it is such a great location, isn't it?! Bill has retired now but his son and daughter in law are carrying on his legacy. We hope to see you back at our campgrounds soon :)
Absolutely wonderful, Bill the owner is very pleasant and easy going. We arrived pretty late, the instructions are on the door to the lodge, set up and he pops around in the morning and arvo. His numb... Read more

Hi Anais, we so happy you found it to your liking. Bill has retired now but his son and daughter in law are carrying on his legacy. We hope to see you camping with us again soon.

Great location close to the falls, with clean amenities/facilities and helpful staff and a beautiful river to swim in. This camp is a great base to explore nearby towns and attractions. 4WD cars have the advantage of being able to drive to the bottom of the paddock and camp right on the river. We parked our city car up in the top paddock and carried our gear down closer to the river and had a quiet spot all to ourselves, we think it was worth the walk.

Hi Snixy, we have a very special little spot and we're glad you had a great time. We haven't been able to open the camp spot down by the river due to excessive rain this season but hope to in the future. We hope to see you back again :)
Top Questions
How much is it to camp here?
Hi Elizabeth, Thanks for your enquiry. For a powered site for 2 people it is $30 per night and unpowered is $25. Thanks by Shona M.
Is it dirt road into your campsite ?
Hi Margaret, Our road into the site is gravel and then onto grass, so some areas can get a bit squishy after excessive rain. If this is worry we have plenty of camp spots as soon as you enter through the gates. There aren't many spots where you can't enjoy the view and of course hear the rushing of the the beautiful Dangar Falls. We hope this helps you and we look forward to seeing you at our gorgeous little peaceful place. Thanks by Shona M.
Do you have to pay for camping if you drive down near the water ?
Hi Sam, we've just taken over the running of the Lodge so are sorry no one got back to you. Unfortunately at this the camping by the river isn't available due to excessive rain but we hope to open it back up in the future. In the meantime, you are welcome to come camp with us back up near the Falls. We look forward to seeing you. by Shona M.
