A very lovely camp ground where you can bring the dog, yes it's allowed as it's not a wildlife reserve. Not much shade but for a camp on this end of the Murray River it's perfect. No amenities so self contained is highly recommended. We met the Parks Ranger who was very nice.
Beautiful spot. Dog friendly, pub that serves good meals right there. Toilets and showers. Right on the river.
Came here after sunset not really knowing what to expect in the dark, when we woke up it was a beautiful morning surrounded by the mountains and the Murray river! A very beautiful campsite. One of my favorites! Recommend to anyone who loves to wake up in nature and maybe be woken up by the kookaburras!
Top spot but not much shade. Great if you like kayaking - launch at the boat ramp at Walwa and paddle down to Gaddis Bend.
This is a beautiful spot very quite great scenery.
