Question:

Can you access this area with a caravan?

Answer:

Yes. Well we did, but it is a sandy track and it gets a bit chopped up where the entrance track meets the beach area. We got bogged briefly but a couple of Maxtrax boards got us out. by Joe M.

This place is stunning. Or would have been if it wasn’t blowing 30 out of the east everyday 10am through to 6pm. When it’s calm Harvey Bay is directly in front and looks like glass. Lots of land and sea wildlife. No facilities here at all. No bins, toilets, water nothing. All back in Bundaberg just over 30mins away. Thankfully limited wankers in Patrols with 35 inch+ mud terrains too. Access in is not too bad but expect a light scratch or two when looking for a spot going down the beach track.

One of my favourite camping spots. Stay right on the beach and plenty of room to have your own area away from others. You definitely need a 4WD.
