Great campsite! Very lovely, right by the river. Getting there is 100% a treck! You will need a 4 Wheel Drive with high ground clearance since there are really big puddles on the way! 4WD ONLY for sure! There was also a little bit of rubbish but we picked up a few!

There were huge puddles (practically swamps) on the road to get there and we got our AWD SUV stuck and it took at least an hour to get out. Definitely 4WD needed and recommend going in daylight. Never made it to actual campsite and just set up camp for the night at the beginning of the road.

Tattersalls Campground is a basic free camp spot with relatively easy car access (in dry weather) and a drop toilet. Unfortunately the muddy banks and surrounding oyster farms mean swimming is impossible but the stargazing and river views make up for it. If you’ve loaded

It’s a swamp. Really muddy. Can’t really swim. Without getting dirtier than before you got in the water Nice little spot for sunset watching through the trees ❤️ very quiet Not accessible by car. We took our van through had a bit of trouble.
