Just spent Easter here. Use to come all the time as a kid. The grounds are impeccably kept. Probably best grass I've ever seen in a caravan park anywhere. Entertainment over Easter was a nice extra touch. We had an acoustic performance, Lions Club cooking pancakes and an egg hunt for the kids. It was absolutely packed so I'd recommend booking several months in advance especially for long weekends.

LOCATION: Right in the heart of McLaren Vale wine region. A short walk to Main St with cafes & shops. Could not be better located. SITES: Very well kept. Grass sites are watered after each visit which means that check-in is not until 2pm. We had a large powered site, but utilising it meant we did not have long-enough water & sullage hoses (which we didn’t realise until after we set up (not the CPs fault)) $10 charge for late checkout even on powered sites. AMENITIES: Modern & they are cleaned regularly. Showers were powerful and as hot/cold as you want (I didn’t want to get out!!) We did not use the camp kitchen or the laundry, but plenty of washing line space. Large clean swimming pool for the kids. The off-lead area for dogs is small but does the job. Only a Short drive to the off lead beach. Van storage available OVERALL: Lovely park. Very well kept and looked after. Would definitely come back to McLaren Vale and would stay here if we did.
