We loved camping here and the kids loved the Peddaloes and being able to swim. You can order Pizza or Fish & Chips at the restaurant- have to order before 4pm. The Homestead has a little bar,for a much needed cold drink,big communal fire pit and the campsite has lovely big hot shower rooms with toilets. You drive up to the camping area and pick the site you want, lots of trees for shade as it is SO hot up here. The camping site is also a short drive to some lovely Gorges for a walk and swim. It’s 50k off the Gibb Road on an ok track and you can buy fuel at the Homestead. Would definitely recommend stopping here when doing The Gibb.
