Tq stephen we will be plz one last question which is better Mt franklin reserve or firth park campground by Praneeth C.
I have never been to Firth park so I cannot comment on that. We have found my Franklin great because of the close proximity to Hepburn springs and Daylesford. We have always enjoyed our stay there and will definitely go back again by Stephen B.

Any lakes near by by Praneeth C.
I believe there is. There is also a lake in Daylesford by Stephen B.
Can you drive into the campsite?
Yes we take our caravan in there all the time by Stephen B.
Beautifully peaceful, nice 45min round walk to the crest of the crater, standard pit toilets, fire pits and nice grassy areas for camping, plenty of spots on a first come first served basis
Spacious camp sites, dog friendly & campfires permitted. Suitable for tent camping, camper trailers and caravans. Walking tracks begin from the camp ground. Not far from Daylesford & Hepburn Springs so very handy for supplies or tourist visiting. Water tanks empty. Swarms of giant blow flies on warm days - like bees. Toilets but we personally wouldn’t use.
Fantastic place. I went on a Monday-Wednesday and there were only a couple others around. Dogs allowed on leash but people generally let well-behaved dogs play together off-lead. Some fireplaces are destroyed so bringing your own metal one is a good idea. Great forest paths and off-the-track walks around the place. Fair few flies around, not many mosquitos.
