We have stayed at the Newmarket Gardens Caravan Park on 4 occasions & have stayed in over 130 Caravan Parks Australia wide, this is by far one of our favourite Caravan Parks. The staff are always friendly & very professional. We are particularly grateful to Robyn (Mgr), who assisted us to return to Qld (our place of residence) during the current COVID 19 Pandemic. Nothing was too much trouble during our 3 phone calls, prior to heading off from SA, where we had stayed during lockdown for 7 weeks. Before heading north. Robyn provided us with an email to show at the Border, in the event we were directed to self isolate. At each of our stays the Amenities have always been very clean & currently they are cleaned & spot checked often during the day. This has given us great comfort & confidence that we are safe during the current Pandemic. Also, all caravans have been spaced appropriately to allow for Social Distancing requirements. The park is also very well maintained, is in a very convenient location when driving in heavy city traffic towing a Caravan. There is a Shopping Centre across the road with a Coles Supermarket, Post Office, Chemist, Bakery, many Restaurants & Take away outlets, a Hotel & many Allied Health services. One of our favourite activities is walking the many beautiful bush tracks located around the Caravan Park & there is also a Tennis Court in the complex. We Highly Recommend this Caravan Park to anyone travelling through Brisbane.

Brad, Thank you for your comments and recommendations. It was a pleasure for us to work together to ensure your journey back to Queensland, travelling through 4 States under the circumstances you faced, was as seamless as it could possibly be. It appeared to be a logistical nightmare at first but you worked through the different Directives in place by each State to make it back home! It was a bonus that you did not have to self isolate as well, even though we had arrangements in place for you in case that was necessary. We always try to keep our old park here as clean and neat as possible for our guests. Our team have taken all the changes occurring due to COVID-19 in their stride to help ensure everyone's safety here at Newmarket Gardens. As you mentioned there are a great selection of stores and services adjacent to us which makes a stay with us very easy and also to access public transport into the city centre.
DO NOT CAMP HERE. The woman who runs the camp treated us in an awful way saying that spanish people were not welcome there. She started to shout at us to make us leave.

I would firstly like to say that everything stated in this review is untrue. I have done everything I can to help more than a dozen nationalities as this Worldwide Health Crisis has unfolded. This includes involvement with Consulates, Divisions of Worldwide Organisations and DFAT to aid our international guests stay safely until they are able to get home. On 28 April 2020 Ms Varas and 2 other people arrived to check into our park which is still open under COVID-19 Government Directives. The paperwork I have on record states that Ms Varas and her female travelling companion are from Argentina and their male companion is from Italy. None are from Spain. She stated she had come from the Gold Coast. As the Queensland border was closed and restrictions including 14 days self isolation were in place I started to query her statements. Ms Varas wrote that she had come from an area declared as a Hot Spot in new South Wales at that time. I checked the Queensland Government Directives in place on that date and then other Government Directives. I mentioned to Ms Varas that I was unsure of whether they could be travelling and staying with us and I asked for the Permit that was issued at the Queensland Border. To the best of my knowledge that stated that 14 days of self isolation was required plus on the COVID-19 Guest Declaration that Ms Varas started to complete she did not tick that she was not required to self isolate. I quietly explained why I was unable to have them stay in our park. I will never compromise our other guests, our staff, my family nor our local community members health under this Worldwide COVID pandemic. I am thinking of taking further action about these accusations made against me.

Cute site. Some plots have pretty tiled awning areas. Toilets are a bit dated but are spotlessly clean. Reception staff very helpful and it’s easy to get in to the city. We jumped in an Uber and it was only $12 I would go back

We only stayed one night so really didn’t get to much info . Ammenities were clean , you have a Coles supermarket and other restaurants in walking distance , to get into the heart of Brisbane is a $35 taxi ride . Bus service is out front. I did not see a pool .
