We went 2 weeks ago for the 3rd time, and we love the area, not much has changed. Wasn’t too busy either! A few things to note, the walk to the old ruins and the other bush walk near the river crossing were closed, unclear when they will be open. I think the old hotel is closed also, we didn’t see it open on the way in or out. And at this time of year, late June, there is no more sun on the campsite by 3pm, and it gets dark pretty quick, and we didn’t see as much kangaroos or possums as we used to. Also if you want to play music in your camp please be considerate of others, we had some neighbours playing music till 3am, even after asking nicely to turn it off they weren’t too happy about that. They didn’t have the volume up really high but the sound travels so far on a really quiet night, really hard to get a good night sleep. Music off at 12am I’d say. And on that, take some good earplugs.

A better campsite then the main but smaller.
