A great campsite for a weekend break. It’s a bit of a drive in and you really do need an AWD or high clearance vehicle - particularly if it has been raining. Easy access to two local beaches and plenty of walking tracks. Lots of wildlife around, we saw possums, kangaroos, goannas etc. It is a remote campsite, so there are no showers, water and only very basic, unserviced facilities so bring everything you need.

First time off road camper. I do now have a troopy would this be an easy drive in for a beginner?

We drove in in Feb on a day trip visit - a bit bumpy for our 2wd SUV but we saw a Kombi nearly there. A couple of places where you have to stop to let the other car past - hope this helps by Aircamper

Are the toilets drop toilets, or flushing with sinks?

Drop toilets, unsure of sinks by Marc S.

No sinks or water available on site. by Timothy S.

It all looked VERY basic - try Depot Beach for better value n hot showers etc. I thought there was less privacy than most of the Depot Beach spots n you still have to book n pay by Aircamper
