Smashing spot. Rolled in at 12 during peak season and found a nice quiet spot to park. Tents, vans, cars, all welcome. Covered picnic area and bbq’s. Water too. Toilets but no showers. Bit of a early drive in but really nice spot to crash for the night.

Average camp site, poorly maintained toilets and bad smell

Great campsite, toilets and bbq area really clean & new. Extremely windy when I went but think it might have just been a storm /not the area

Secluded spot for vans/tents. Water available, a couple of BBQs and a covered up seating area. A toilet available too. Decent campsite - strong smell of fish / seaweed and a bit isolated but overall an excellent spot!

This is a fantastic place to stay, we intended to stay a few days and stayed 2 weeks, there only 2 toilets 1 female 1 male, there’s water taps throughout the park, can get very hard to get a spot after 3 loads of room for caravans buses rooftop tents and loads of cars just for the night. The sports club is the only thing there and it’s open Friday, Saturday with full menu Sunday for fish and chips and Wednesday for a takeaway pot luck meal food is great, they put on entertainment some nights we enjoyed Easter Bunny and a DJ night while there, the locals are wonderful

Question:

Is there any room at the moment there?

Answer:

I was there this time last year Graeme and there was plenty of room.. it’s quiet spacious so it’s possible.. if not, there is also another spot further up the road as well as long as you don’t have a tent. by Melissa T.
