Michael was such a welcoming host! We just stayed for one night but had a lovely stay. The pub felt very homely and had a really nice atmosphere. The camp site felt secure and was quiet, apart from the odd passing trains. Great spot right by a stream and surrounded by wildlife and farm animals. Highly recommended if you are passing through! :)
Stayed twice here. First time in a tent, great location, quiet and nice grass. The manager Michael is a top fellow, great to talk with over a pint. The second time it was freezing, heavy frost to I got a cheap room upstairs. I could not recommend the location more highly
