Some campsites flooded extensively when it rained (we ended up having to move our tent during the night) so check the weather forecast ahead of time. Quite dusty and not many private-ish sites available, but good location - seems to be the closest campground to Freycinet that is free and doesn’t require booking / entering the ballot.

Nice free camp spot. Only about 10-15 individual sites. Sites are fenced off so they're nice and private. Bit of highway noise but nothing too bad.
Great location- short walk through to the bay and short drive to Freycinet. Toilets available but drop loo and pretty average

loved it!
