We had an awesome stay here over the Queens Birthday weekend. Phil was really helpful. The site is level and grassy, there is water and hot showers available. We had power for the van which was handy at it was very cool overnight. The skies were clear, and star watching was brilliant sat next to our campfire. As the signs state, it’s a very basic area facility wise, but if you’re not an “ensuite” kind of camper you will love the peace and tranquility here. Thanks to Phil we had everything we needed.

We have camped here in a peak season (5-7 Jan, 2021) and were on our own! Isn’t it a luxury? It is very very quiet town with 1 car passing in an hour. Silence and stars at night. Facilities include toilets, showers (hot), water supply. Brought our motocross bikes and it has been the best with state forests all around the area. The sunrise in a fog has been magnificent. And the caretaker has been a great man, drove to the grounds to show us around the site, communicated clear and simple.

They say life is better around the campfire. And we could not agree more.  Over the years due to increase fire risk it's become a challenge to find great campsites that allow you to have a fire by your tent.  Please be a responsible Aircamper and brush up on your fire safety knowledge. Bushwalking NSW has a great article that'll give you the rundown on how to light a fire responsibly. Below we've collected some hidden gems near Miners Beach North, NSW that still allow you to sit back, toast your feet and incinerate some marshmallows while telling stories about camping when you were a kid.
