Great bush camp, about 20 minutes from Portland. It’s busy at the moment (early jan) but there are still places to pitch a tent. We got in last night and there were some rowdy campers blasting AC/DC, just part of the wildlife. So many wallabies and beautiful birds around here!

Got to this campground around 4pm between Xmas to New Years and it was pretty packed, so decided to try our luck elsewhere. Was surprised to see campfires during total fire ban.

Super busy in the intervening period between Xmas and NY. But good for an overnight stay if you’re on your way to SA or Melb. Plenty of roos and wallabies around, so if you have a reactive dog make sure they’re on lead. Our pup loved it and there were reasonably clean toilets available. No bins, so take your rubbish with you.
