Really enjoyed our 4 nights at this Caravan Park, wish it was longer. The staff at the park are so friendly and helpful. My kids were entertained with the jumping pillow and pool. The location is somewhat isolated but just a short walk to a 24 hour petrol/supermarket. Also next door to a children’s play center. Drive into town was about 5-10 mins. The only real issue with location is that it’s right near the main highway and can get pretty noisy at night..... I do like a bit of noise/atmosphere in a caravan park, but this was fairly loud - especially when trucks past by which felt like always. We stayed in a basic en-suite site and the facilities were ok, probably on the dated side but I guess what’s to be expected in a caravan park - they have nicer en-suite sites (booked out when we booked) so not sure if these are nicer, but the one we had was very cramped and old. The site we were on was on gravel which wasn’t ideal but was ok. The park is dog friendly and have a dog park area at the back of the park which was great to let our dog off her leash and run around for a bit. All in all the park is a little dated but we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back if in the area.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, Lory. We're delighted you enjoyed your stay and great to see there was plenty to keep the family happy and busy, including the four-legged ones. We look forward to welcoming you back next time you pass through the region.

We did a late arrival and find out that someone was using our space and didn't want to move. Space had dog poo everywhere and facilities were pretty dirty. I will never come back to this place. Staff apologized but we were expecting futher action to warranty everyone follows the rules and to keep the campsite in optimal conditions. Hans

Our priority at this challenging time is to accommodate the many fire evacuees that are looking for a safe and comfortable place to seek refuge. At the time of your stay, the Park was close to full due to the influx, which undoubtedly resulted in the facilities facing higher demand. Many evacuees brought their pets (which they consider to be part of the family) also leading to a high number of dogs in the park. This is an unprecedented event for the region. We are very disappointed by this review and photos. Compassion, patience and understanding is what is needed at this time.
