A must visit!! We loved our stay here. Heaven on earth!! Beautiful and easy walk to the falls. It got very busy over Easter. Clean drop loos. Bin on-site to throw rubbish. Pets allowed, fire place at each campsite. Lots of shade. Nice and cool on hot days. It got very cold overnight. Easy drive for day trips to Apollo Bay, Houpeton Falls and Triplette falls. 10 minutes drive to little town for food and supplies.
Very large campground. Quite dry when it hasn’t been raining. Waterfalls are very nice and easy to get to.
Decent sized site with long drop toilets. Heaps of room to spread out and next to a small river/creek. There's a short walk to a small waterfall nearby. We camped there on a long weekend so it was ridiculously busy but I imagine midweek would be peaceful.
Big well looked after spot, great walk and falls, get there in good time to find your camp, some fire pits and benches available, well looked after drop toilets.
Driving from Melbourne, at what point can we expect to lose our GOS map signal?
I know that with phone signal I’m with Telstra and usually lose it when heading down the road to the site (Upper Gellibrand Rd) by Zoe S.
Thank you! by Markus F.
You won’t lose your GPS signal as that does not rely on Telstra or whatever. No phone reception at Stevenson’s falls. If going on a weekend get there early to get a spot. by Kenrconn
Hey is anyone there? Are there any free spots at the moment?
Is anyone at the campground now or visited very recently? Is it easy to get a spot there?
I had no trouble getting a spot a couple of weeks ago! by Eva D.
Went there last weekend, got there in the evening, very busy but still found a spot by Aidan O.
Do we have to book stevensons falls campgrounds? Did a thorough google and can't find any information regarding bookings.
First in best dressed! No booking required. by Eva D.
Yeap as far as I know it hasn’t changed. No bookings first in gets the spots by Lee M.
Is there reception at this camp site?
No by Melissa A.

Please be a responsible Aircamper and brush up on your fire safety knowledge. Bushwalking NSW has a great article that'll give you the rundown on how to light a fire responsibly. Below we've collected some hidden gems near Sandy Gully Beach, VIC that still allow you to sit back, toast your feet and incinerate some marshmallows while telling stories about camping when you were a kid.
