Question:

Is there swimming here?

Answer:

There is the river near the camp but steep banks, there is a shallow river crossing near the falls carpark that we put our feet in, but not really for full on swimming, the fall themselves I would not recommend it by Lee M.

Question:

Is road into camp suitable for caravans, how much a night ?

The road to the site is narrow but 2 vehicles can pass each other quite easily when moving slowly. Plenty of caravans down there in peak periods. $0 fee, it’s first in best dressed by Blake G.

Beautiful campsite, lovey walk to the falls and the toilets are very clean. You might encounter some cute koalas on the way! Easy drive for 2wd also.

Awesome free camp. Some other options nearby in case it’s full (Dando’s and Beachamp) but there was space when we went down on Sunday. The Stevenson’s falls walk is a short drive away and that was really busy but super stunning. Toilets are decent and there’s a sweet tyre swing. Roads in are a bit narrow and gnarly - 2wd is fine but take it slow. I wouldn’t take anything too wide down those roads. Ticks all the boxes for a free camp, would defo go again.

Stoked with this site. Great facilities and stunning area. Would be hesitant to tackle the road down in the wet unless in a 4wd.
