Beautiful spot! It was really basic. A drop toilet and grassland to pitch your tent. And while the walk down was quite long (especially with a heavy pack), it was definitely worth it because the campsite was 10 m from the sand. Also I believe due to the walk, it was very quiet, with only one other camper there when I was. No water available here, so make sure to bring plenty. There are also some cute hiking trails just off the fire trail.

Beautiful campground very close to the beach! Be aware that the walk to reach it is a steep 1.5k so go light on gear.

Beautiful clean grassy flat campsite right at the beach - listen to the waves crash all night. Bins & drop toilet on site. No tap or drinking water. 30min hike in (downhill on way in, uphill way back). Parking free - sign says 4WD but my Toyota echo made it

Great remote campsite. You can drive and park your vehicle on Tallow Beach Trail. It is an unsealed road with some large dips/mounds so 2wd vehicles will need to take it slow to ensure they don’t scrape. The walk from the parking area to the campsite is about 1.5km down a very steep hill. This is okay waking in, but remember you need to cary everything you bring in back out (up the steep hill). The limited spaces at this site (only 6) is great as you typically have the beach to yourself. You do need to book well in advance of your trip to secure a space. Plenty of wildlife and some great walks around as well.

Are open fires allowed?

No. Open fires are not allowed in any NSW National Park - and for good reason.... The parks are super dry and likely to start a bush fire. Take a gas stove for cooking. by Daina B.

Did you do camping there ? by Tatiana R.

Have there been any issues with cars getting broken into?

I have heard of one car, but that's it. Mine was fine. Plenty of people always coming & going. by Daina B.
