Stayed a night at Toorooroo after escaping overcrowded campgrounds at Booderee NP. Very basic campground but good for a night, three camping areas each with a picnic table and fire pit with hot plate. No fresh water or bins available, long drop toilet at the picnic area next to the camp ground. Quite close to access road so lots of road noise from 4WDs and dirt bikes staying at the nearby Yalwal campground. Vegetation is regrowth acacia with a few larger eucalypts and angophoras, good spot for birdwatching and a few good mammals incl. red-necked wallaby, wombat and sugar glider feeding on the acacia sap.
