It is a medium size camping ground. Grassy spots are slight slopes that are not really great for a tent nor for campers, etc. if you want to camp on flat surface it is most likely to be gravel. Was quiet the night we stayed, just 3 other cars (mid August). Now the best part - there are 2 some of the most amazing lookoutsjust 15mins on foot from this site overviewing Hunters Valley. Go there night time - foggy, stary - unforgetable. You will need to be self sustained to camp here, and it is free.

Would not recommend bringing your caravan. I did and it was a hard pull uphill over fairly rough track. 4wd ok. Secluded camp site at the top of the hill. BYO everything. Very quiet at night in the forest. Walkers, cyclists, motos and 4wd during the day.
Good spot. When you first get there it looks like you can probably fit 5-8 families however by the end of the night there was about 15 camp sites and it was super cosy. Just abit ocky getting up. We were on road bikes, so a dirt bike would be perfect. A lot of riders with dirt bikes around there brapping.

Pretty great camping area, would recommend driving up with a 4wd but managed to get up with a small hatchback.
