This is a difficult review to write as we had a mixed experience. Firstly the site itself is excellent - the amenities are new and clean and having a pool and jumping pillow was great for our kids. Staff and other campers/ site users were very friendly and welcoming. The major downside is the noise and lights from the nearby highway. It literally felt like we had road trains hurtling through our tent all night. There is also a problem with wasps - as soon as you set up camp they arrive and will not disperse which isn’t a pleasant experience. If you are planning to camp in a tent, Set up as far away from the river as possible as this is the boundary with the road and will minimise the road noise as much as possible. Cabins and caravan accommodation shouldn’t have these issues so will have the best experience.
Beautiful place to stay, our first night we were interrupted by possums but management were happy to move us as kids were scared of growling, after that great stay lovely people and I highly recommend 100%

We have loved it here. Other then some lazy people not obeying campsite rules we have loved it. $25 a night for a non powered camp site with use of fully equiped camp kitchen, bathrooms, toilet, showers, pool ..... heaps of things for kids. Dog friendly and reception staff have been amazing
We went in the middle of August(!) so the weather was not that great. The site was extremely muddy due to the rain and I think our site was one of the worst effected (Powered Site 99) but the amenities were excellent and were really clean, given all the mud, they must have been cleaned really regularly. Really modern and well equipt; we had to use the laundry facililIes which were excellent. You need your own wash poweder (there is none to purchase onsite) and you need coins to operate $4.00 wash, $4.00 dry) Close to the shops on the high street, plenty of places to have a coffee or some lunch. Would go back again, but in spring/summer.

At the park there is a play ground and jumping pillow for the kids, if you like nature fishing and bushwalking tracks. There's the pool and plenty of wineries around and if you go 20 mins down the road into Alexandra there is so beautiful shops to visit and the famous lake Eildon by Lesa C.
There’s also a tennis table and a social room with TV that play a few movies in a scheduled time. by Luna Diniz Gratton
